an endometriosis blog
Marina here! I was diagnosed with endometriosis in 2022, although like most people with the condition, I was fairly certain I'd had it long before I had my laparoscopy. In the year leading up to my diagnosis, it truly took over my life, disrupting moments of joy and sometimes preventing me from participating in my everyday activities. My hobbies, soccer, music, and art became chores, and I spent countless social outings dissociated while masking agonizing pain. I know firsthand how overwhelming chronic illness can be, and am hoping that sharing some of my experience and things I've learned along the way can help others who are suffering too. Although chronic illness can feel incredibly isolating, "at the endo the day" (haha) you're not alone.
"endo the day" goals
This blog aims to be a resource for people who are suffering from endo and chronic illness more broadly. By sharing my experience with endo, I'm hoping to make others feel less alone and raise awareness for this common but relatively unknown condition. By sharing tips and tricks for pain management and getting to a diagnosis I hope to help people who are suffering find some solutions.
